Conditional Forwarder

A conditional forwarder is a new feature of DNS in Windows Server 2003.It is a DNS server on a network that is used to forward DNS queries according to the DNS domain name in the query.

Conditional forwarding can be used to speed up the DNS name resolution process by directing queries for specific domains to specific name servers.
