Step 1: On the Menu, click Administration>Database Backup. The Database Backup screen appears.
Step 2: For Backup Path, type the location where you want to save the (e.g., c:OfficeScanDatabaseBackup).
By default, OfficeScan saves the backup files in the c:Program FilesTrend MicroOfficeScanbackup directory.
Step 3: If you plan to Enable scheduled database backup check box.
Step 4: Select one of the following options:
Daily: backs up daily
Weekly: backs up weekly. Select a day from the list on which the database will be backed up.
Monthly: backs up monthly. Select a date from the list on which the database will be backed up.
Step 5: Specify a time to perform database backup in the Start time spin boxes.
Step 6: If you plan for manual back omit step 3,4,5 Just Click Backup Now.
Step 1: On the OfficeScan Server, stop the OfficeScan Master Service.
Step 2: Copy the backup files over the existing database files in the…Program FilesTrend MicroOfficeScanPCCSRVHTTPDB folder.
Step 3: Start the OfficeScan Master Service.
